Stealing Borrowing a line from Carol, of May Dreams Gardens, I am celebrating the frost rather than decrying it. As I just learned from Kathy at Cold Climate Gardening, Saturday's frost was actually a freeze, and yesterday, when I was able to take photos, we had had a hard freeze, with a low of 24F/-4C.
This is my first attempt at a video with music, so be forewarned.
There are quite a few flowers undamaged by the freeze, including the Pansies and the Geranium in the video. Unlike in spring, I don't attempt to mitigate the frost damage. That would merely be postponing the inevitable. Do you embrace frost, or fight it?
